Geographical Names Board Now Seeking Feedback

8 December 2023

The NSW Geographical Names Board (GNB) is now seeking public comment on the proposal to rename the suburb of Yellow Rock to Yellow Rock Ridge.

Following Council's endorsement of the proposal at its meeting on 26 September 2023, Council brought the proposal to the NSW Geographical Names Board meeting held on 14 November 2023, where it was approved to be advertised for public comment.
