🐶 Now Open - Get ready to play at Warilla Dog Park! 🐶
Located on Benaud Crescent behind Warilla Pool and within Shellharbour War Memorial Park the fenced small and large dog park has space for you and your dog to socialise, exercise and enjoy the spring air!
About the project
Council’s Dog Friendly Spaces Strategy guides the provision, improvement and management of dog friendly spaces within Shellharbour City.
Dog friendly spaces nominate clear areas where dogs are allowed to be and provide areas for exercise and socialisation for both owners and dogs. Council recognises the importance of community consultation at the planning stage, as the establishment of these areas can impact on other recreational users and adjoining residences.
Community consultation undertaken during the development of Council’s Dog Friendly Spaces Strategy identified future dog parks (such as those proposed at Croom and Warilla) will include:
- Fencing
- Bins
- Dog waste bags
- Seating
- Drinking fountains (for dogs/humans)
- Parking
We would like your feedback on equipment selections for the proposed Dog Agility Parks at Croom (Albion Park Rail) and Warilla, and the existing small dog area in the Oak Flats Dog Agility Park.
