    Public exhibition

    At the Ordinary Council meeting held on Tuesday 16 October 2018, Council endorsed the following documents to be place on public exhibition. Draft Shellharbour City Event Strategy 2018-2021.

    The events strategy aims to provide a clear and coordinated approach to ensure Council’s involvement in events delivers the best possible outcomes for the community.

    On Exhibition

    These documents will be on exhibition at Council’s Administration Centre, Shellharbour Civic Centre, at all City Branch Libraries and on Council’s website.

    Public Submissions

    Submissions are invited and from 24 October 2018 until 4.00pm 20 November 2018. Submissions must be received in writing and addressed to The General Manager, Locked Bag 155, Shellharbour City Centre,

Manager Community Engagement and Activation

Jamie has been working in the arts and events industry for the past 15 years. He has worked on major festivals and events across the world from Edinburgh to Melbourne. Previous positions include Senior Producer at Sydney Opera House, Executive Producer at CarriageWorks and Head of Events at SHFA.


Community Engagement Officer

Toni has a wealth experience in events and community engagement. She has worked for Council for the past 12 years and with Rodney Rude Productions and in the corporate sector.


Events and Activations Officer

Peita has over 8 years’ extensive experience managing events in the Corporate, Community and Sporting sectors.

She has previously worked for Wollongong City Council, the St. George Illawarra Dragons and the Illawarra Business Chamber.
