What we heard from International Women's Day 2025

18 March 2025

What we do & why?

A big thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday 7th March for International Women's Day morning tea!

Shellharbour City Council’s International Women’s Day morning tea celebrates the amazing achievements of local women in all areas of life. It’s also a chance to come together and support gender equality and empowerment for women everywhere.

We connected with local women from all backgrounds through media releases, social media, and invitations, encouraging them to take part in the morning as speakers, performers, participants, and guests.

Your insights are essential for shaping events that reflect communities' vision and aspirations. Let us know what you loved and what you’d like to see next time!
