Earlier this year, the community shared feedback on proposed concepts for Foreshore Park, with strong support shown for Concept 1. Based on community and Councillor feedback, a preferred option has been identified that includes a new playground, open green space, seating, shade and inclusive play opportunities.

The design responds to the features the community told us are most important, including safety, play opportunities for different ages, water play, shade, accessibility and retention of green open space.

Artist impressions of the proposed park and key facilities are available below, featuring the following equipment:

• Bespoke tower with 2 slides large and smaller
• Swing set (2 swings plus nest swing)
• Inclusive carousel
• Inground trampolines (x2)

Frasers will now progress detailed design and planning approvals for Stage 1, which includes the playground, open space and seating areas. We’ll continue to share updates as the project progresses.
