The netball courts are almost complete!

Netball courts

We've upgraded the old turf to two hard-surface courts and installed lighting, allowing longer play hours for local clubs and the public.

About the Project

Construction has commenced on two Netball courts on the park's western side. This project, partly funded by Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 3, has been awarded to contractors Court Craft and will include:

  • Construction of two hard surface netball courts
  • Lighting
  • Connection footpaths
  • Drainage

Throughout construction, access to the existing playgrounds, pump track and amenities building will be unaffected.

Masterplan

Due to the needs of the site and some drainage concerns, there has been some change to the original master plan. The two hard surface courts are set to be constructed on the southwest corner of the park rather than further north. This will make for a more manageable result, lasting longer and seeing more use in most weather conditions. Use the slider below to see the change.

Key for what we are proposing: 1. Hard surface netball courts (2). 2. Grass surface netball courts (2). 4. Footpaths
