Construction has commenced on two of the Netball courts located on the park's western side. This project, partly funded by Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 3, has been awarded to contractors Court Craft will include:

• Construction of two hard surface netball courts
• Lighting
• Connection footpaths
• Drainage

Weather permitting, the project is expected to conclude by May 2024.

Throughout construction, access to theexisting playgrounds, pump track and amenities building will be unaffected.

Due to the needs of the site and some drainage concerns, there has been some change to the original master plan. The two hard surface courts are set to be constructed on the southwest corner of the park rather than further north. This will make for a more manageable result, lasting longer and seeing more use in most weather conditions. Use the slider below to see the change.
