The Suburb of Mount Warrigal

Mount Warrigal is bounded by Lake Illawarra in the north; Trumper Street and a continuous line running from Trumper Street in the east; Lake Entrance Road in the south; and the parkland in the west.

Mount Warrigal is a suburban area, found between Lake Illawarra and the ocean. There is a public school here and a few local restaurants to eat at. Boonerah Point Reserve is a beautiful spot for walking, fishing and picnics and has a small jetty across the lake.

The largest employment industry in Mount Warrigal is health and aged care. Shellharbour Public Hospital can be found here and Warrigal Community Village looks over Lake Illawarra, with aged care accommodation and facilities.
