The Suburb of Shell Cove

Shell Cove is bounded by Shellharbour Road, the Cemetery, Old Bass Point Road and the suburb of Shellharbour in the north; the Tasman Sea in the east; the Municipality of Kiama and the Minnamurra River in the south; and the locality of Croom in the west.

Shell Cove is the newest suburb in the Shellharbour Local Government Area. It is a residential area with many spots for locals and tourists to enjoy the area such as The Links, Bass Point and the latest upgrade, The Waterfront Shell Cove.

The Waterfront at Shell Cove is the latest attraction, with a 300-berth marina, boardwalk, hotels and restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars along the water.

Bass Point and Bushrangers Bay can be found just south of the marina and is a great spot for snorkelling, diving and trails to viewing platforms and private beaches.

Another beautiful spot here is Killalea State Reserve, popular for surfing, swimming, and birdwatching at the lagoon. If you are looking to stay, there are campsites available and picnic spots on the hill.
