Future Forests at Croom
What's the plan?
We've got 2000 native tube stocks ready to go in the ground at Croom Reserve, starting at the southern end of the site and working northwards. We've got the equipment and materials to help the day go off without a hitch - all we need is your help!
Planting will start at 10am, so we'd like everyone to meet at John O'Dwyer Oval carpark. After a couple hours of planting, we'll host a free BBQ lunch (with vegetarian options available) as a thanks for your hard work!
What to bring:
- Water bottle (we'll have a station for refills)
- Sunscreen and hat
- Please wear enclosed shoes, and clothes that can get a bit of dirt on them!
Click on the interactive map below to see where to park and where to plant!
Did You Know
that 90% of the tube stock for this program was propagated right here in Shellharbour, at our very own Council Nursery!
