Tripoli Way road upgrade electrical work relocation starts

14 February 2025

The Tripoli Way road project is set to begin with work to start on electrical relocations. This is the first step in progressing the Tripoli Way road upgrade that will improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in Albion Park.

The project will establish an uninterrupted route bypassing the Albion Park town centre, connecting Terry Street in the east to the Illawarra Highway at Broughton Avenue in the west, and includes widening to four lanes to Calderwood Road and two lanes to Tongarra Road at Tullimbar.

Council appointed Ferrycarrig at the December Council Meeting to undertake the key electrical works for Tripoli Way, due to start next week to prepare the road corridor for major construction that will begin later in 2025.
