Stage 3 of the work started in July 2021, and involves a knock-down rebuild of the existing administration building. This milestone will be the most significant achievement of the Masterplan, and it has been brought forward to align with Council's objective to provide a quality, safe and sustainable workplace for all staff.

We considered renovating and extending the existing building, as well as the knock-down rebuild. After a full comparative analysis, including cost-benefit calculations, the best option was a fit-for-purpose building. This will provide quality shared spaces for all staff in one building, and accommodate future growth.

Temporary offices are installed in the Depot Backyard, and staff will be moving towards a Paperlite workplace to support our value of sustainability and bring in line with existing practices at other sites.
