When considering the proposed design and location for the new Waterfront Centre, it's important to consider its features, which currently include:

• The Shell Cove Library, replacing the small and aging Shellharbour Village Library.
• Flexible areas for community and private use, suitable for functions, meetings, study, conference spaces, reading or workshops
• The Visitor Information Centre (VIC)
• Fully accessible lift
• Charging stations and WIFI
• Public toilets and baby change facilities
• Public lounge area and indoor seating
• Weather respite in air-conditioned facilities.
