About Shellharbour Beachside Holiday Park

The Shellharbour Beachside Holiday Park (SBHP) is located on the South Coast of New South Wales, just east of Shellharbour City Centre. Less than two hours from Sydney, the park is close to popular destinations including Kiama and Gerringong. Set on an elevated coastal headland, the holiday park overlooks Shellharbour and is bordered by John Street to the west, the ocean and rocky coastline to the east, and Shellharbour South Beach to the southeast.

The land occupied by SBHP is Crown land, meaning it is owned by the New South Wales Government for the benefit of the community. Shellharbour City Council manages this land on behalf of the State as the Crown Land Manager under the Crown Land Management Act 2016. This Plan of Management guides the future use, management and improvement of the holiday park and surrounding Crown land.
