Design1 Design 2

Design 1

  • The larger bowl is more open and has a smoother flow compared to Design 2, but it still includes big transition bowl features.
  • There are level changes from a terrace seating area to a central hangout spot, which includes a skateable kerb edge and a pathway from the south side to the island.
  • The beginner area has a simple design with low-level bank and rail features, and the openness allows more people to use it at once.

Design 2

  • This design has more creative and sculptural features that encourage creativity, focusing on flow and pumping for beginner and intermediate skaters. It includes roll-in points to a partially open shallow bowl with humps for rolling in and out, various transition extensions, pockets, and a bank hip. Since it holds fewer users at a time, skaters will need to take turns.
  • A second fun area sits between the street section and a low, open bowl. It has low ledges and quarterpipe obstacles designed to minimise collisions.
  • The large intermediate-to-advanced bowl is more enclosed than Design 1, similar to a competition-style park, allowing skaters to develop advanced skills.
