About the Park

Campbell Park, Flinders

Campbell Park is a 'local' park located in a quiet corner of Flinders. It is a popular park with nearby families and the local primary school students, as it lies within walking distance for many who frequent it.

The playground is scheduled for renewal as part of Council’s 2025/26 Capital Works Program. We will be delivering new play equipment to replace the well-loved park.

In August 2025, Council consulted with students at Flinders Public School to learn what they would like to see in local parks and playspaces. Council staff held a workshop with students from Kindergarten to Year 6 to get a better understanding of play preferences across different age groups.

Students shared their feedback through a drawing activity and a thumbs-up, thumbs-down poll. The most popular playground features identified were swings, slides, climbing equipment, and a flying fox. Drawing on this feedback, Council created a concept design that incorporates the students' most popular play preferences.

Park Hierarchy

Campbell Park has been identified as a Local Park.
