About the project
While fencing isn't deemed necessary for all playspaces due to limiting play opportunities, cost and maintenance, Council recognises the need for fencing in specific circumstances, such as supporting young children, parents supervising multiple children, or sites with high safety risks.
Following community feedback we’re excited
to announce that we’ll be adding fencing to one playspace in each council ward.
This initiative aims to encourage more families to enjoy our parks and
recreational areas.
